I doubt the liquid nitrogen would do anything negative. It would probably improve the batteries performance as it would most likely make the battery a giant superconductor, but it would be interesting to see.
Except that the plastic containing the batteries is likely to crack, and the electrolyte may very well freeze at 77K.*
