Our Demonstrations

Over a five year history, The Geek Group has provided exciting, visceral, hands-on science demonstrations for children (ages 8 and up), school groups, youth development groups and private gatherings.

Several types of demonstrations are available at The Geek Group;

• General Science Demonstrations – These demos encompass a wide range of scientific disciplines from robotics to high energy physics. These demos are great primers for children ages 8 and up and make great activities for group outings.

• Specifically designed and age targeted demonstrations to augment classroom curriculum or youth group focus. These are dynamic, hands-on experiences that can be used to illustrate specific areas of science, technology, engineering and math.

• The Geek Group has also designed demonstrations for those involved in scouting and other youth development organizations. SScout leaders have found that the Geek Group is an exciting and engaging way to fulfill requirements for badges and achievements.

All demonstrations are approximately an hour long. These are typically fast paced information packed shows. Admission is $5 per person (assistance is available to qualified groups and individuals).
